Golden Triangle with Rajasthan

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met our Hansa Vacations representative and after a warm welcome proceed to the pre-booked hotel. Special welcome awaits you at hotel in traditional Indian style with aarti & tika. Stay overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a tour of the city. Your sightseeing will start with a visit to the (Birla Mandir) Laxminarayan Temple, built by one of India's foremost business families and dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver. Proceed to the former centre of Moghul Power, Old Delhi that offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Drive past the Red Fort, built in 1648 and board the 'cycle rickshaw' for a unique experience from the Red Fort, through "Chandni Chowk" or Silver Street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this very busy avenue-heading west from the Fort. Later visit the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Afternoon proceed for a visit to New Delhi. Drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate built in memory of the 85,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War 1. Opposite the India Gate, is the massive Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India. Continue on to Humayun`s Tomb of the Mughal era followed by tour of the towering minaret of Qutab Minar. Qutub-Minar in red and buff sandstone is the highest tower in India. It has a diameter of 14.32m at the base and about 2.75m on the top with a height of 72.5m. Stay overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra, once the capital of Mughal India, Agra  is  the one of the prominent destinations of the World Tourism  map with  three heritage monuments -The Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri  & Red Fort. It is more just a decadent city of graveyards and stones, but it is a vibrant centre of Culture, Art and Religious philosophies that have enriched mankind and shaped human thought over centuries. Agra is famous for   handicrafts products   such   as Inlay work on Marvel, Leather work, Footwear,   Brassware,   Carpets, Jewellery, Zari and Embroidery work. Upon arrival in Agra check-in hotel. En-route you will visit Sikandra. Rest of the day you will be free for personal activities and relaxation. Stay overnight at hotel in Agra.

Day 04: Agra
Early morning before breakfast visit the monument of Love to catch a glimpse of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. We are about to witness one of the greatest sights of one's lifetime - the Taj Mahal at sunrise, as we visit the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colours of the rising Sun or setting Sun on this brilliant white marble building.  “Monument of Love” - Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) symbolizes eternal love frozen in white marble built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz.

Return to hotel for breakfast, after breakfast you will visit the Agra Fort. Agra Fort is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most important and robustly built strongholds of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture. It was constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar on the remains of an ancient site known as Badalgarh. Sikandar Lodi (1487-1517) was the first Sultan of Delhi to shift his capital from Delhi to Agra.

Afternoon enjoy a visit to Itmad-Ud- Daula. Rest of the day will be free to relax and enjoy the amenities at the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Agra.
Day 05: Agra – Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri- a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Continue drive to Jaipur, upon arrival in Jaipur – check into the hotel.

Jaipur is a land of natural beauty and great history. It has a flourishing tourism industry. Also called pink City, it is the capital of Rajasthan. It is well connected to the other parts of the world, through its vast network of airways, railways and roads. The palaces of Jaipur are the favourite spots for tourists, both Indian and foreign. Many old and neglected palaces and forts in Jaipur have been converted into heritage hotels. The service sector of Jaipur boasts of its tourism, real estate, insurance and hotel industry. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur
After breakfast start the day with an excursion to Amer Fort. Amer was the ancient capital of Jaipur. It is situated atop the Aravalli hills overlooking the city. Ascend the fort on elephant's back, like a king. Later visit Jaigarh fort where you can see the world's largest canon displayed. In the afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), Jantar Mantar Observatory and City Palace museum which covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this palace is a now a museum, containing three wings of Armoury, Textiles and Artefacts. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 07: Jaipur - Bundi
After breakfast depart Jaipur and drive to Bundi. Upon arrival in Bundi explore the Taragarh Fort, the Palace and the 84-pillared cenotaph. After the sightseeing you will check-in at the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Bundi.

Day 08: Bundi –  Chittorgarh - Udaipur
After breakfast depart for Udaipur which is one of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan. Enroute visit Chittorgarh fort. Upon arrival in Udaipur you will check in at the hotel. Evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 09: Udaipur
After breakfast you will proceed for a half day city tour starting with the City Palace – A regal architectural wonder located over Lake Pichola, it is an accumulation of courtyards, pavilions, terraces corridors rooms and hanging gardens. They all are built at different time beginning from 1559 A.D. The balconies of the palace provide splendid view of the Lake Palace hotel, Jag Mandir on one side and on the other the city of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple – located in the city palace complex, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and can be approached by a broad flight of steps.
Later visit Saheliyon–Ki–Bari also known as garden of maids – queen's resort for her friends and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir – Folk Art Museum which exhibits the brilliant collection of folk articles of Rajasthan varies from typical rural–dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Stay overnight at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur – Jodhpur
A seven-hour drive will start in the morning and take you to Jodhpur. En-route, you will visit Ranakpur Jain Temples, belonging to 15th century. After reaching there, you will check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
After a early breakfast you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, and Clock Tower. Afternoon depart for Jaisalmer en-route visiting the 7th century Osian Jain temple. After arriving Jaisalmer you will check in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 12: Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for a full day city tour of starting with the massive Jaisalmer Fort – This magnificent fort was constructed in 1156 by the Bhatti Rajput ruler Jaisala. It is located on an 80m high Trikuta Hill. This is a living fort; with one quarter of the old city's population residing in it. The fort is approached through four gateways. Other Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh–Ki–Haveli – has beautiful mansion with stone carvings and lattice work of spectacular intricacy & Patwon–Ki–Haveli which has delicately carved pillars and widespread corridors and chambers.

Late afternoon you will drive to the picturesque Sam sand dunes, situated at a distance of approximately 42 km from the city of Jaisalmer. These sand dunes are amongst the most renowned ones in Rajasthan. The Sam Sand Dunes would totally charm you with their attractive sights and adventure freaks can also enjoy a camel safari experience of the Sam sand dunes. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 13: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
On this day, you will drive to Bikaner. Check in at hotel on arrival in Bikaner and rest of the day at leisure to relax and enjoy the amenities at the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Bikaner.

Day 14: Bikaner – Mandawa
Morning proceed for a half day tour of Bikaner city starting with Junagarh Fort which is believed to be one of the most magnificent forts of north India. This fort was built in 15th century by Raja Rai Singh who was one of the most able and faithful generals of Akbar. This fort has a 986m–long boundary wall with 37 bastions, a moat and two entrances.
Later visit The Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum: This small museum has a huge collection of pottery from the Harrapa civilization period. It has a beautiful collection of pottery, carpets, paintings, armory, coins terracotta and weapons which make this museum one of the finest in Rajasthan.

Afternoon depart for Mandawa. After reaching there, you will check in at the hotel and freshen up. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 15: Mandawa – Delhi
In the morning you will visit the magnificent Havelis of Mandawa, later depart for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi our representative will transfer you to the International airport where you will board the flight for onward destination.
