There is a certain magic about traveling through Rajasthan which is unequalled by any other place in the world. Everything in Rajasthan is breathtakingly beautiful impressive and fascinating. Amazing legends of heroism and romance still resound from its equally amazing architecture that still stands to narrate its tale of a bygone era. Even a short two days visit to Rajasthan is sufficient to get a feel of it, but this two weeks long journey to Rajasthan with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal at Agra can provide a most memorable holiday.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi (By International Flight)
Upon arrival at Indra Gandhi International Airport, our Hansa Vacations representative will meet you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel for check in and night stay.

Day 02: Delhi / Agra (200 kms / 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Agra. Arrive Agra and check in to the hotel. Afternoon you will visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur (265 kms / 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Jaipur and en route visit “ The ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri”. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Arrive at Jaipur and check in to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur sightseeing
Morning visit Amer Fort this morning and ascend to the fort on the back of a decorated Elephant. Also visit Jaigarh Fort where you can see world's biggest cannon on display. Both Amer and Jaigarh Forts hold the attractions of Rajput architecture. Enjoy a short rickshaw ride in Jaipur streets. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur / Pushkar (150 Kms / 3 hrs drive)
Moring depart for Pushkar this morning. On arrival visit the famous Pushkar lake and Hindu temples. Also visit Dargarh of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and Adhai din ka Jhopra. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Pushkar / Udaipur (204 kms / 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Udaipur the “City of Lakes” Reach Udaipur and check in hotel. Evening will be at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Udaipur sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to visit the City Palace museum, where one can find rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies. Also visit the famous peacock courtyard, Sahelion-ki-Bari (the gardens of royal ladies, lay out with lush green lawns, kiosks, trees and beautiful fountains). Jagdish Temple is also an important site to visit. Later proceed to the local folk museum having beautiful peacock mosaics, splendid series of figures in mid 19 century. Evening enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Udaipur - Jodhpur (275 Kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Jodhpur. The city was founded by Rao Jodhaji in 1459 A.D. The city was on silk route of the 16th century and hence was host to a number of travelers. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. En route visit a group of Jain temples at Ranakpur which is, a unique example of Jain ecclesiastical architecture. The main Jain temple is Chaumukha or Four faced temple dedicated to Adinath and consists of 29 halls and 426 pillars full of sculptured decoration. No two pillars are alike here. Reach Jodhpur and check in to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Jodhpur sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for a city tour of Jodhpur. The city tour of Jodhpur includes Meherangarh Fort, rising up a hilly scrap, which was built on the advice of a hermit, and it overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel Jaswant Thada, the cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur dotted with cenotaphs Moti Mahal or Pearl Palace, which has exquisite, painted ceilings and walls Sheesh Mahal & Rang Mahal Palaces are also noteworthy with fine decoration enriched with inlay work and mirrors. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (290 Kms/ 05 hrs)
Head to Jaisalmer, in the Great Indian Thar Desert. Architecturally, the city has a wonderful legacy of old buildings, united by the common use of local yellow stone and beautifully preserved due to the isolated location. Enclosed by an imposing sandstone wall, the fort stands on a hill 250 ft. high. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11: City tour and Sam Dunes visit
Breakfast at hotel followed by a visit to the forts and havelies of Rajput Nobles and merchants. The most important sites are Patwon-ki-Haveli & Salim Singh–ki-Haveli. In the evening enjoy trip to the most picturesque Sam sand dunes. Various cultural programs are organized against the backdrop of these fascinating sand dunes along with a camel ride to view the sun set over the sand dunes. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Jaisalmer – Bikaner (325 kms / 06 hrs drive)
This day you will be driven  to Bikaner. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure to explore the city on your own. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Bikaner / Mandawa (190 kms / 04 hrs drive)
This morning visit Karni Mata Temple (Rat temple) inhabited by hordes of rats. Also visit Junagarh Fort and Camel breeding farm. Afternoon drive to Mandawa, the capital of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan and world famous site for its old havelies and fresco art. Enjoy the village walk and see how the earthen potteries are made by Indian potters.
Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Mandawa / Delhi (260 Kms/ 05 hrs)
Morning visit the  frescos of the havelis  of Mandawa. Later you will be drive to Delhi. You will relax in the lobby of a 5 star airport hotel where you can have dinner on direct payment basis. In time our representative will transfer you to International airport to board your flight back to home.
