Day 01   : Arrive Bangalore                                                            
In the arrival lounge at Bangalore International airport, a Hansa Vacations representative will meet and assist you at the airport and escort you to the Hotel The Oberoi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02   : Bangalore
This morning enjoy the Spa services at the 20000 square foot Bangalore spa is equipped with a state of the art gymnasium, private dressing rooms for men and women and luxuriously designed whirlpool, sauna, steam and relaxation rooms. This is combined with luxury treatment suites, hydrotherapy rooms and our unique Ayurvedic Centre. Its luxurious setting ensures that the pampering and relaxation goal of each individual guest is met. Here the guests can create their own ideal Spa day combination of services, or the Spa Manager can help design a Spa day for them. The Spa offers an experience of relaxation, revitalization and rejuvenation. A steam, sauna or a relaxing soak in our Jacuzzi precedes all treatments for maximum relaxation. Understanding the philosophy that all treatments should be therapeutic but with the indulgence and pampering in mind, we designed a menu of services to stimulate all of the senses and provide personalized touches. The ultimate aim is to offer our guests a haven where romance is enhanced and both body and spirit are renewed.

Afternoon proceed for a short tour of Bangalore visiting The Bull Temple, built in the 16th century by Kempegowda. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva’s vehicle Nandi. A whole lot of interesting things happen at the temple. Weekends see typical marriage processions, shiny new cars being baptized and de-evil-eyed, and musicians play in and around the temple. As the story goes the gigantic bull statue is growing; it currently stands almost 5 meters in height and more than 6 meters in length. The Tipu’s Summer Palace - One of Tipu's summer retreats - was begun by Hyder Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan. It is an elegant two storey wooden structure with ornate pillars, balconies, arches and a well-maintained garden. A magnificent post independence structure incorporating the traditional feature of architecture, the Vidhan Soudha (houses the State Legislature) is located in Cubbon Park. This is an imposing granite structure with a total plinth area of over 5,00,000 sq.ft and houses the secretariat, the state legislature and several government offices. The huge carved doors of the cabinet are made of pure sandalwood. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Bangalore – Srirangapatnam – Mysore (Approx 4 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast you will be driven to Mysore. En route visit the Srirangapatnam from where Tipu Sultan ruled most of the south India in the 18th century. His defeat to the British marked the beginning of the Raj era in South India. Continue to Mysore and check in to the Hotel. Afternoon enjoy the Spa services of this wonderful hotel.  Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04   : Mysore
After breakfast visit the Mysore Palace, the beautiful profile of this walled Indo-Saracenic palace, the seat of the maharajas of Mysore, graces the city skyline. The former maharaja is still in residence at the rear of this palace.  Inside is a Kaleidoscope of stained glass mirrors gilt and colors.  The palace even has a selection of temples within its grounds. Later we drive on to Chamundi Hills - Overlooking Mysore from the 1026-meter summit of the Chamundi Hill, the Sri Chamundeswari Temple. This temple is dominated by a towering seven storey, 40 meters high Gopuram (or tower). The goddess is the family deity of the Maharajas and the people of Mysore.
Afternoon proceed to visit the Brindavan Gardens which is one of the most visited travel destinations in Mysore. The Gardens are laid across the River Cauvery below the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam in Mandya District, spreading over 150 acres of land. The garden is embellished with vast expanses of well-laid out lawns, diverse kaleidoscopic rows of flowers and above all the amazing site of fountains encompassing a small beautiful lake holding the charm of musical fountain in its center. With the splendid play of lights and musical fountains one could feel the charm of heaven on earth. Stay overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05   : Mysore - Bangalore (05 hrs drive) / Bangalore – Trivandrum (By flight) / Trivandrum – Kovalam (01 hr drive)
This day you will travel to Bangalore. En-route visit Sravanabelagola (meaning monk of the white pond). Sravanabelagola,  is a noted place of pilgrimage for the Jains. The large hill, also called Vindhyagiri or Per-kalbappu, is 3347 feet above sea level. A flight of 614 steps, finely chiseled into the granite of the mountain, leads to the summit, where stands an open court and the great statue of Sri Gomatheswar. Sravanabelagola means 'the monk on the top of the hill' and hermits, mystics and ascetics have resided here since at least the 3rd century BC. Arrive Bangalore and transfer to the airport to board flight to Trivandrum. On arrival at Trivandrum you will be met by our representative and drive to Kovalam. Arrive and check in to the hotel.

Day 06   : Kovalam
This day indulge in the Spa services at The Divya Spa, practice to perfection in eight treatment rooms sprawled over 8000 sq. ft. Each room marries state-of-the-art amenities with centuries-old wisdom and learning to give you treatments for a host of ailments, both of the mind and body. Abhyangsana
In Ayurveda massaging the body with medicated herbal oils, is advised as a part of daily life. Abhyangam increase immunity, providing energy and nourishment to the entire body. A daily massage takes away physical and mental fatigue improves eyesight and circulation of vital life fluids that in turn increases stamina and vitality. Abhyangam relaxes the body easing of its tensions and has been found to be a cure for insomnia. This massage removes dryness leaving skin smooth and shining.

Abhyangsana Syncronized Massage
Head, Neck, Shoulder and Back Massage - Ayurveda massage only for upper part of the body to take away the stress and strain of the back and neck. Highly recommended after long journey.

Chavutti  Thirummu - In this massage varying degrees of pressure with the toes or the feet are applied to certain points of the body while holding onto a suspended rope for support by single therapists. These pressure points help to stimulate blood circulation and help to revitalize nerve endings and muscles. It gives you a feeling of well-being as it improves blood circulation and clears the body of toxins. This massage is beneficial for those who are involved with martial arts and classical dance.

Kalari Massage - In this massage varying degrees of pressure with the toes or the feet are applied to certain points of the body while holding onto a suspended rope for support by two therapists in a synchronized manner. These pressure points help to stimulate blood circulation and help to revitalize nerve endings and muscles. It gives you a feeling of well-being as it improves blood circulation and clears the body of toxins. This massage is beneficial for those who are involved with martial arts and classical dance
Udvarthnam - This is a massage with special herbal powders that reduces excess fat creating a vibrant complexion and healthy skin. This also prevents and reduces wrinkles, cures dryness of the skin and helps to cure diseases caused by the accumulation of metabolic wastes, due to the improper functioning of the sweat glands. This massage makes the body firmer and is helpful in reducing excessive perspiration and discoloration of the skin and makes the body firmer and tighter.

Head, Back Therapies and  Body Baths
Pathra podala swedam (Path-ra-podala-swe-dam) or Elakkizhi - An assortment of medical leaves are cooked in medicated herbal oils, packed into bags that are made warm and applied all over the body .This technique improves the strength of the muscles, relieving body pain, numbness and shivering. This massage helps in lubricating joints, improving skin complexions and helps to relax the body by expelling toxins through perspiration. This treatment is highly recommended for arthritis, paralysis, convulsions and relieves pain in lower backaches, cervical, spondilitis and sciatica.

Shirodhara (Shi-ro-dara) -Shirodhara involves a steady stream of warm medicated herbal oil on the forehead while lying on a flat surface with the head back. The oil is poured very slowly for 30-45 minutes followed by a gentle scalp massage. Dhara is done in absolute silence and helps you to relax and helps you to create a balanced state of rest on the mind and the body. The massages helps to relieve recommended for hypertensions, asthma and hair problems.

Shirodhara with Abhyangasnana - This is a combination of Abhyangam- “Ayurveda General Body massage” And Shirodhara- “steady stream of medicated ward oil to the forehead”. It offers you a highest level of physical and mental relaxation. Most suitable for jet lag.

Thakra Dhara (tha-kra-dara)  - Similar treatment as Shirodhara, this massage uses medicated butter milk that is recommended for hair and scalp ailments.

Pizhichil (Pi-zi-chil) - In Pizhichil lukewarm medicated oil dipped in pieces of cloth and squeezed by hand are poured continually and uniformly over the body from a defined height and simultaneously massaged by skillful hands. This treatment increases blood circulation, nourishes muscles and the nerve tissues. This massage is helpful for rejuvenation.

Ksheera Dhara (cheer-ra-dara) -Ksheera Dhara is one of the important treatments among Kerala special therapies. It is a process by which the body is made to perspire by means of pouring warm medicated milk with a special vessel from a certain height and is rubbed into the body in two positions.

Njavarakkizhi (Na-vara-kiri) - In Navarakkizhi a special type of rice called Navara is cooked with herbs and cows milk. A bag containing medicated rice is dipped in this and made warm. It is gently massaged on the body till all the medicated rice is applied on the body. Navarakkizhi improves blood supply by cleansing the channels of circulation expelling metabolic waste. It promotes digestion, nourishes the muscles and the body increases immunity. Navarakkizhi promotes sharpness of vision and helps to cure diseases of nervous system, osteo-arthritis and any other ailment that is caused by the blood. Navarakkizhi slows the aging process and gives you a sense of rejuvenation.

Katee vasthi (Ka-tee-va-sti) -An embankment of about 4-5cm.is made on the lumbar region of the person and oil is maintained in it for particular time. This medicated oil therapy is for lower back aches and spinal disorders.

Urovasthi (uro-va-sti) -An embankment of about 4-5cm.is made on the chest region of the person and oil is maintained in it for particular time. This medicated oil therapy recommended for muscular chest pain and asthma.

Lepam - Lepam is spreading of thick herbal paste on any afflicted area of the body. The paste is a blend of many potential herbs, spices, juice of leaves and buttermilk.

Eye Therapy
Netra sekam (netra-se-kam) - Eye washed with special herbal decoction for better vision and protection from cataract and other disorders.

Netra tharpanam (Netra-thara- pe- nam) - Warm, medicated ghee eye bath is applied to cool, relieve eye strain & strengthen the optic nerves

Relaxation Program
The Ayurveda Destress program - This is a massage done only for 1 day where the whole body is massage with herbal oil for 30 minutes followed by the dripping of a steady strain of oil on your forehead while the head is being massaged. Highly recommended for jet lag.

The Ayurveda Destress and Detox Program - Day 1 – The body is scrubbed for 45 minutes with applying herbal powder followed by the full body massage with medicated herbal oils for 45 minutes.
Day 2 – The body is massaged with specially prepared herbal oil bundles followed by the dripping of a steady steam of oil on the forehead while the head is being massaged.

The Ultimate Ayurveda Relaxation - DAY 1 - The body is scrubbed for 45 minutes with applying herbal powders followed by the full body massage with medicated herbal oil for 45 minutes. DAY 2 - The body is massaged with specially prepared herbal oil bundles followed by the dripping of a steady stream of oil on the forehead while the head is being massaged. DAY 3 - The body is massaged with medicated herbal oils followed by the massage with the Navara rice.

Day 07   : Kovalam
After breakfast visit the Napier Musuem which has a good collection of bronzes, historical and contemporary ornamented temple carts, ivory carvings and life size figures of Kathkali dancers in full regalia. Visit the Sri Chitra Art Gallery, where you can find the display the paintings of the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools, together with works from China, Tibet, Japan and Bali. There are also many modern Indian paintings. Visit the Kuthiramalika (Wooden Royal Castle), adjacent to Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple at East Fort in Trivandrum. Kuthiramalika which means Horse Bungalow takes its name from the roof beams which are carved to resemble the faces of horses. It has on display ornaments, personal effects and weapons of the former Kings the erstwhile princely state of Travancore. It is a true specimen of Kerala’s classical architecture. The palace with its excellent carvings and amazing architectural designs is itself a piece of heritage. Later visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (non Hindus are not allowed inside), the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is the landmark of the city. It was renovated by the Maharaja of Travancore in 1733. The temple is a fine specimen of South India and Dravidan architecture. Rest of the day relax on the pristine beach of Kovalam or indulge in the spa / ayurveda therapies at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Kovalam
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. This day indulge in the Spa services or just relax at the beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Kovalam – Trivandrum (Approx 1 hrs drive)
                : Trivandrum – Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to Trivandrum airport to board the flight to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the International airport to board homebound flight.
